Queens County Model RR Association's Empire Valley

The Queens County Model Railroad Association (Formerly the Empire Model Railroad Association) has a large HO Scale Layout that occupies a 65 foot by 35 foot area. The Association has been at this location since the late 1940’s and can trace its roots back to the early 1930’s. The Club is making modifications and upgrades to our control and wiring systems. Track upgrades and scenery refreshing are always ongoing. Currently we are exploring the world of model railroad operations and are developing operation plans. The Club uses the NCE wireless DCC control system which lets you travel with your train as it traverses the layout.
